WWI 91st Division Field Artillery Soldier's Group

Nice group includes uniform with unusual 91st Division shoulder insignia, canteen, pistol belt, and more. Enlisted issue 1917 pattern olive drab wool tunic has "US [NA]" collar disc which is native to the uniform, Artillery disc was on an overseas cap in the group - I moved it to the uniform since it did belong to this soldier, and the second disc was missing on the uniform. Tunic has Corporal rank chevron, one overseas service chevron, and a nice applied construction die-cut wool 91st Division 'pine tree' shoulder sleeve insignia with white painted "91" designation featuring light green blocking. Has a few pinhead size moth holes, nothing significant. Uniform is complete with olive drab wool M1912 breeches, wool wrap puttees, unlined US pattern overseas cap, and a rather mothy British pattern US overseas cap with small bronze "US" device. US M1917 helmet retains 90% textured olive drab finish with nicely rendered green and white 91st Division painted insignia on the obverse; interior has chinstrap which is inscribed with soldier's name, liner with worn crown pad and instruction tag remaining. Group also includes a shaving kit, soldier's sewing kit, a large folding map of France, a road map for the area surrounding Metz, a partial Stars & Stripes newspaper, collapsible drinking cup, and a M1910 canteen with cover converted for mounted use with a snap hook sewn to the belt hanger tab. Includes near mint condition mess kit with equally nice knife, fork, and spoon. Also includes very dirty and field-worn 1918 dated .45 automatic magazine pouch and M1912 pistol belt. The ID is only based on the name on the chinstrap, but still a nice 91st Division group.
The artillery ARS gas mask in in rough condition, but still holds its shape. The spider glasses are rarer to find and typically for artillery troops. US soldiers were often given French gas mask. The gan shows belgian white letters and a Belgian instruction sheet.
The shoes are the typical M1912 French shoes and are in very good condition. They miss a few eyelets.
The mannequin is not included in the price, but can be obtained for 260 EUR.
